We booked the day-trip from Sharm El Sheikh and overall had a very positive experience. The hotel pick-up was on time, the bus was comfortable and the guide was friendly and knowledgeable. We visited the Grand Egyptian Museum and the Pyramids of Giza in one full-day outing. Seeing the museum’s massive collection and the Giza plateau was definitely a highlight. One downside: the bus ride is long and early (~6h each way) so prepare for a full day and some travel fatigue. Also, time at each site felt a little rushed due to the schedule. Recommended for visitors staying in Sharm who want to see Cairo’s top heritage sites in one day.
